Private schools in Willow Glen include St. Christopher Elementary School, a private Roman Catholic school and Presentation High School a Catholic college-preparatory school for girls. This school, by the way, boasts a 100 percent graduation rate.

Dining, shopping and recreation in Willow Glen
Unlike many of San Jose’s other suburbs, Willow Glen has a downtown area. Charming, tree-lined streets harken back to small-town America and the area’s sidewalk eateries and coffee shops, boutiques and antique stores offer residents amenities close to home. Strolling downtown Willow Glen, it’s hard to imagine that downtown San Jose is only three miles away.
Residents love the area’s farmers market, held on Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
The efforts to keep residents connected don’t stop with the various block parties. Willow Glen knows how to party. Some of these include the Dancin’ on the Avenue celebration, Founder’s Day parade, the Willow Glen Beer Walk and others.
There are several parks throughout Willow Glen. River Glen Park, in the community’s eastern section, is ideal for the wee ones, with fun equipment to climb on and lots of places for parents to sit and enjoy the view. The park also offers beach volleyball facilities, basketball and tennis courts, horseshoe pits and picnic areas.
