Schools
The Cupertino Union and Fremont Union High School Districts serve the public school students in Homestead Villa. Students are assigned to the following schools, depending on home address:
- West Valley Elementary School – serves more than 625 students in grades Kindergarten through 5. In 2016, this school was ranked 369th of 5,621 California public elementary schools. West Valley exhibited consistently high scores on standardized tests until 2015 when the average fell more than three points. This corresponded with a drop in the number of teachers at the school and, thus, a rise in the student-teacher ratio. Whether this contributed to the drop in scores is unknown.
- Montclaire Elementary School – Serves slightly more than 500 students in grades Kindergarten through 5. Montclaire ranks 108th of all of California’s public elementary schools.
- Cupertino Middle School – Ranked 35th of California’s 2,472 public middle schools, Cupertino Middle School serves more than 1,400 students in grades 6 through 8.
- Homestead High School – Administered by the Fremont Union High School District, Homestead High is ranked 60th of 2,044 California public high schools. It serves slightly more than 2,400 students in grades 9 through 12.
