Schools

The East Side Union High and Oak Grove Elementary School Districts serve the public school students who live in Blossom Valley. Elementary school students may be assigned to one of several schools, including Frost, Oak Ridge, Glider, Sakamoto, and others.
The latter is a highly regarded elementary school in San Jose, although Glider Elementary is ranked higher. In fact, Glider, ranked at 1,311 of 5,621 elementary schools in California, ranks higher than 76.7 percent of California’s elementary schools, with improving standardized test scores. Sakamoto ranked 1,540 of California’s elementary schools, bests 72.6 percent of the schools, down from 86 percent in 2013.
Santa Teresa High School is highly ranked, coming in at number 230 of California’s 2,044 public high schools. Students here have increased their standardized test scores every year since 2012.

Shopping, dining and recreation in Blossom Valley

Blossom Valley residents don’t need to travel far to run errands and shop. Nearby strip malls and the larger Westfield Oakridge Mall offer everything from boutiques to national chain stores and plenty of dining opportunities.
Bring the clubs when you buy a home in Blossom Valley because you’ll have plenty of opportunities to use them. Boulder Ridge Golf Club, located on a hilltop just over the community’s southern border, offers a gorgeous 18-hole championship course
Outdoorsy types will love the nearby Santa Teresa County Park. With 1,673 acres, residents explore the natural areas, trails, and picnic areas. The park also offers an equestrian staging area, the Santa Teresa Golf Club and an archery range.
You’ll also find neighborhood parks scattered around Blossom Valley, most within walking distance of the area’s homes.

Homes in Blossom Valley

The homes in Blossom Valley consist of a mixture of new construction and older homes, typically built from the 1960s to the 1980s. The many neighborhoods within the community offer various home styles, from single-story ranch homes to condos and townhouses.
Prices range from the low $200,000s in the area’s 55+ mobile home communities to more than $1.3 million for large homes with custom amenities. Mid-price-range homebuyers will find lovely townhomes and condos priced in the $500,000s.
